My Story

Welcome, we are so glad you are here!

I’m Jordan Blaufuss, a Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency medicine, express care, and primary care. I spent several years working in traditional healthcare settings, where I gained invaluable experience caring for patients across all stages of life.

I’m also a mom of three, married to my high school sweetheart, and we live on a piece of land in the country. We love being outside, spending time at the lake, and making memories as a family.

My personal health journey is what truly transformed the way I practice today. After having my second child, I eliminated dairy while breastfeeding. When I later tried to reintroduce it, I developed severe digestive symptoms.

I sought answers through conventional care, seeing both an allergist and a GI specialist. After extensive testing, including a colonoscopy, I was told everything was “normal” and advised to simply avoid dairy. That answer didn’t sit right with me.

Determined to find the root cause, I began exploring functional medicine. Through that process, I discovered I was dealing with gut dysbiosis. Once I addressed the underlying imbalance, my symptoms resolved—and I felt better than I had in years.

At the same time, I began noticing a pattern in my own patients. Many were being told their labs were normal, yet they continued to struggle with fatigue, gut issues, hormone imbalances, and other chronic symptoms.

That realization shifted everything for me.

While I have deep respect for conventional Western medicine—especially in acute and emergency situations—I saw firsthand its limitations when it comes to chronic conditions and long-term wellness.

Functional medicine allows me to take a deeper, more personalized approach. Instead of masking symptoms, we look for root causes and create a plan that supports the whole person.

This is why I do what I do—helping patients feel heard, find answers, and truly get their health back.
